The
HEST (High Efficiency Single-phase Transformer)
products provide efficient power to single-phase loads.
The
HEST is designed with two coils and is built to be higher than
efficiency levels of NEMA TP-1 and CSA 802.2-06 and exceed the US DOE
CSL-3 standards. The HEST improves the overall efficiency of the
facility and returns the investment in a short period of time. The high
efficiency levels of the HEST will also have a direct impact on
improving the Power Factor of the facility, thereby, reducing the ROI.
Due
to the fact that most single-phase transformers
are installed outside of the electrical rooms, close to the equipment
and in
polluted areas of the work place, the rugged build of the HEST
minimizes the
scheduled maintenance intervals to a minimum, thereby improving the
bottom-line.
The
efficiency of the HEST is third party verified by
Intertek, one of the most trusted test organizations in the world. It
also
bears the Intertek logo for high efficiency compliance, together with
the
related verification number.
All of the connection points
of HEST transformers are
accessible from the front of the units. They also accept a wide variety
of
extra options. The HEST in its standard form has a maximum temperature
rise of
150 °C.
The
finished product is shipped in a shrink-wrapped, gray NEMA 3R enclosure
with corner protectors on our unique SmartSkid®,
for safe and effortless transportation and installation.
