Product Overview:





The HTT2 (Harmonic Treating Transformer with two outputs) is a highly advanced dual output Isolation transformer with extraordinary harmonic mitigating capabilities. The HTT2 mitigates all of the 3rd order harmonics together with 5th and 7th harmonics in its windings. Phase shifting technology, combined with low zero sequence impedance and balanced output impedances, enables the HTT2 to efficiently and reliably mitigate the harmonics created by nonlinear loads such as computers, monitors, printers, copiers, rectifiers, robots and Variable  Frequency Drives.

Each one of HTT2 outputs can feed a three phase, four wire panel and simultaneously cancel their 5th and 7th harmonics against each other and mitigate all of their third order harmonics through its integrated Flux Cancellation Technology.

Although it is preferred to have equal loads on the two outputs (50 - 50) of the HTT2, for safety reasons, each one of the outputs is designed to handle 60% of its nominal capacity as long as the total load on the transformer does not exceed its rated capacity. For example, a 150 kVA HTT2 can deliver a total of 416 Amps on its 208 V outputs. One output can be loaded up to 250 Amps as long as the load on the other output does not exceed 166 Amps.

The harmonic mitigating capability of the HTT2 makes it a great facilitator for of IEEE 519 conformity. HTT2 transformers have front access to all of their connection points (primary, secondary, and voltage taps). They accept a wide variety of extra options. The standard version of HTT2 has a maximum temperature rise of 130°C with four primary voltage taps (two taps above and two taps below nominal).

The finished product is shipped in a shrink-wrapped, gray NEMA 3R enclosure with corner protectors on our unique SmartSkid®, for safe and effortless transportation and installation.
